How to search
Type a Chinese character to see the character page, a pinyin syllable to find names and characters with that sound, or an English word to find names with that meaning. The search is deliberately small: it covers our curated name library, not the entire Chinese language.
If you are looking for a name for yourself, start with the Name Finder. It can use your English name and preferences to suggest three options. Search is for looking things up, not for generating a new name.
